Parking Permit Purchase

 

Permits can be purchased directly at the Stonehaven RSO.

• Payments can made here.
• Enter the amount manually based on the month of purchase. You may reference the Parking Permit Pricing chart below.
• The permit is valid from the month of your purchase thru June 30^th of the following year. Monthly and Quarterly permits are not available.
• Your parking permit and gate remote will be provided with your check-in packet. The enclosed “Parking Permit & Remote Control Request” form must be returned to the SH RSO within 24 hours of your check-in as this information is necessary for TAPS registration. Information can also be entered at your Resident Portal. A copy of your DL, auto registration, and insurance is required.
• If your registered information changes you should notify the SH RSO immediately so that the information can be updated with TAPS.

Stonehaven Apartment Permits

• Due in full at the time of purchase.
• Valid in your designated residential community.
• Valid in non-reserved spaces anywhere on campus after 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and all day on weekends. (Up-to-date information should be confirmed with UCR TAPS).
• Refunds will only be issued for any future unused portion of the permit. No refunds will be issued for payments received prior to the cancellation of the permit.  
• Permit Replacement Fee (1st time) $25.00
• Permit Replacement Fee (after 1st time) $50.00

 

Gate Remote

• Will be issued with a purchase of a parking permit.
• Your remote should be returned at your move out.
• Lost or damaged remote replacement fee $50

 

Parking spaces

• Limited and based on availability.
• Spaces are not assigned.
• Please make sure you have a parking permit before bringing your car to campus.

Theft or vandalism

Please report any theft or vandalism that occurs in housing parking lots to UCR Police immediately at (951) 827-5222.



Bikes

Bike Permit and Storage

• If you will be storing a bike on the premises, be sure to register your bike at the Stonehaven RSO as well as UCR TAPS.
• The VIN number or identification number and a picture of your bike will be required at time of registration.
• Bikes may be stored in either of the two enclosed bike racks located on the property. You can access the enclosures with your resident entry key 24/7.
• Bike’s should not be secured to enclosure bars and stairway rails.
• All unregistered bicycles are removed and discarded annually during the summer.

 

Bike Loaner Program 
The Bike Loaner Program allows students to check out bikes free of charge for up to two weeks at a time. It's a great way to get around, get some exercise, and improve your health, and it is also FREE with a current picture I.D. There will be a $10 per day charge for bikes not returned by the due date. Any bike not returned within a month from the due date will incur a replacement cost of $150.

 

Bike Safety
If you are leaving campus, please make sure your bicycle is secured.
